Sorry no one has helped yet, there is no explanation to the way your cabinet is put together. The hinge can't be glued or pegged and be from that perion and still be original. Some thing is not done right, a bad repair has taken place or a dealer may have used a short cut. A photo will help show what should be done. With broken wood a good clamp and wood glue will do the job. You may be able to remove the door and take it to a shop for repair. Hinges have been held in place with screws for hundreds of years, I am searching my mind for a good solution to what seems to be all wrong.
